Our Surfaces

From children's lessons to 5* events, the surface makes all the difference. A proper footing provides stability, returns energy to the horse's limbs, absorbs shock, is consistent in all weather conditions, helps reduce dust, and is adaptable to your riding discipline and level of use. This increases the safety, health, and performance of horse and rider. Whether you have an existing sand arena that you are looking to upgrade, or are building a brand new facility, we can help you create the footing that works best for you.

All of our footings are designed for the highest level of performance and safety, but there are a couple key differences.

SEF Fiber

SEF fiber is a post-production, pre-consumer recycled carpet fiber, ensuring it is contaminant-free. Our fiber comes directly from the facility in France, and meets the highest EU standards, including laboratory testing for Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs). SEF fiber allows all equestrians the ability to have a world-class surface on any budget.

SEFStride

SEFStride is a complete product made of a proprietary blend of equestrian sand, SEF fiber, rubber all coated with a wax. It is carefully weighed and blended at our facility in Lexington KY. SEFStride can be adapted for racing, dressage, show jumping, polo, therapeutic riding, round pens, and carriage driving.
